Guide for New Customers

Basic steps to create an account, place orders, pay shipping fees, and receive goods from Japan.

What does Suzuki do?

Suzuki supports customers in Vietnam with proxy buying, proxy bidding, and package forwarding for goods from Japan to Vietnam. With proxy buying, Suzuki buys goods on your behalf from Japanese marketplaces/websites, receives them at the Japan warehouse, then sends them to Vietnam. With proxy bidding, Suzuki supports bidding on Yahoo! Auctions. With package forwarding, you buy elsewhere yourself and send the goods to Suzuki's Japan warehouse so Suzuki can send them to Vietnam.

Suzuki does not charge a proxy buying fee and does not charge a proxy bidding fee. You still need to pay the item price, shipping fees, and any incidental charges if applicable.

5 basic steps to get started

  1. 1

    1. Create an account and verify your phone number

You register with email or Google. To place a purchase, create a Ship-for-me order, or bid, you need to verify your phone number with a 6-digit OTP code via SMS.

  2. 2

    2. Top up your Suzuki Balance

You top up at the "Top up" ("Nạp tiền") screen. Suzuki Balance is used to pay charges on Suzuki. If you need to transfer from a bank in Vietnam, message in chat for instructions.

  3. 3

    3. Place a purchase, bid, or create a Ship-for-me order

You can paste a product link into the search box, search for items by keyword on the Suzuki website, or click "Create order" ("Tạo đơn"). When placing a purchase, you choose the international shipping method as air or sea. If bidding on Yahoo! Auctions, you need to activate the "Auction Plan" ("Gói đấu giá") first.

  4. 4

    4. Track goods arriving at the Japan warehouse

After a successful purchase or winning bid and payment, the seller sends the goods to the Japan warehouse. When goods are received into the warehouse, Suzuki weighs and records them. You can track them on the Japan Warehouse page with the sections "Items arriving at the warehouse" ("Hàng sắp tới kho"), "Items in warehouse" ("Hàng trong kho"), and "Items shipped out of warehouse" ("Hàng xuất kho").

  5. 5

    5. Pay shipping fees and receive goods in Vietnam

When goods have left Japan, you receive a shipping fee payment request in "Payment management" ("Quản lý thanh toán"). You need to confirm the receiving address and delivery method before paying. Air shipping goods arrive at the Hanoi warehouse; sea shipping goods arrive at the Ho Chi Minh City warehouse.

Amounts you may have to pay

  • Item price in JPY, converted to VND according to the exchange rate announced by Suzuki on the website. The exchange rate is fixed at the time of ordering.
  • Japan domestic shipping fee from the seller to the Japan warehouse, if charged by the seller.
  • Surcharges arising from the seller or marketplace, for example the seller raises the price, charges additional shipping fees, or charges tax.
  • Rakuten's mandatory payment fee: 400 JPY per link. For Yahoo! Auctions, if the seller requires payment via convenience store or separate bank transfer, there is a 400 JPY surcharge.
  • Additional services if you choose them when ordering: taking photos of goods, inspecting goods, or carton reinforcement.
  • International shipping fee: air shipping 195,000 VND/kg to the Hanoi warehouse; sea shipping 75,000 VND/kg to the Ho Chi Minh City warehouse. Fees are calculated based on actual weight when goods arrive at the Japan warehouse and rounded up to the nearest thousand VND.
  • Delivery fee within Vietnam, which you pay to the delivery unit when receiving the goods.
The item description, photos, and condition are published by the seller. Suzuki does not inspect goods before purchase and does not provide warranty for used products purchased from sellers.
