Yahoo! Auctions Proxy Bidding Guide

Conditions, how to place bids, bid increments, and tracking Yahoo! Auctions auction sessions.

Updated 29/09/2026

Suzuki supports proxy bidding on Yahoo! Auctions. You need to meet the auction conditions, choose the correct way to place a bid, and track the session in "Auction Management" ("Quản lý đấu giá").

Conditions for participating in auctions

  • You must verify your phone number with an OTP code before bidding.
  • You need to activate the Auction Plan on the "Overview" ("Tổng quan") page in your account → the "Auction Plan" ("Gói đấu giá") section → click "Activate" ("Kích hoạt").
  • Level 1 Plan deposit 2,000,000 VND, bid on up to 10 links at the same time; Level 2 deposit 4,000,000 VND, 20 links; Level 3 deposit 6,000,000 VND, 40 links.
  • Each item where you are currently leading or that is pending processing occupies one slot in the Auction Plan.
  • The deposit is separate from your available balance. You can click "Withdraw deposit" ("Rút cọc") to return the money to your Balance, but you cannot withdraw it while you are leading an unfinished session or still have an unpaid auction order.
  1. 1

    Activate the Auction Plan

Go to "Overview" ("Tổng quan"), open the "Auction Plan" ("Gói đấu giá") section and click "Activate" ("Kích hoạt"). Choose the level that matches the number of links you want to bid on at the same time.

  2. 2

    Choose the bid button

On the Yahoo! Auctions product page, choose one of three buttons: "Bid" ("Đấu giá"), "Last-minute Hunt" ("Săn phút chót") or "Win Now" ("Thắng ngay") depending on your goal.

  3. 3

    Track in "Auction Management"

After placing a bid, you track the sessions you are participating in at "Auction Management" ("Quản lý đấu giá"). If you win, the system creates an order and you pay in "Payment Management" ("Quản lý thanh toán").

Three bid buttons on Yahoo! Auctions

  • "Bid" ("Đấu giá"): immediately place exactly the amount you enter.
  • "Last-minute Hunt" ("Săn phút chót"): this is automatic bidding. You enter the maximum price; the system places the current price plus one bid increment and automatically raises the bid whenever you are outbid, but does not exceed the maximum price. This is not placing a bid at the last minute.
  • "Win Now" ("Thắng ngay"): buy immediately at the seller's buy-it-now price; the auction session ends.

Minimum bid increment

Yahoo! Auctions sets bid increments according to the current price. You cannot place a bid lower than the valid minimum price and cannot outbid yourself when you are currently leading.

Current priceMinimum bid increment
Under 1,000 yen+10 yen
1,000–under 5,000 yen+100 yen
5,000–under 10,000 yen+250 yen
10,000–under 50,000 yen+500 yen
From 50,000 yen+1,000 yen

Notifications when bidding

  • Suzuki sends notifications on the app and website when you are the highest bidder, are outbid, your maximum price has been exceeded, you win, or the session has ended.
  • Suzuki does not send auction notification emails.
  • If you lose, you receive the notification "the auction session has ended".

Why you may lose even after placing a bid

  • The result is decided by Yahoo! Auctions. You may lose if someone else places a higher maximum bid.
  • The seller may cancel the session or change the transaction status according to Yahoo! Auctions rules.
  • Some items need staff to check before placing a bid, for example the seller only delivers in person, does not ship items, or the item belongs to a restricted category. In that case, you see the notification "restricted product, please wait for the system to check"; if it is not approved, the system will not place a bid.
After winning, you cannot cancel. The system creates an order including the winning price and the shipping fee reported by the seller; you need to pay in "Payment Management" ("Quản lý thanh toán") as soon as possible. The payment deadline depends on the seller; some cases require payment within 12 or 24 hours. Not paying or abandoning the item after winning may incur a processing fee and result in auction feature restriction.
